Locations

Locations:

Finding and securing locations is an essential part of pre-production a good location will make a film just as a poor location can break a film. What follows are some steps that need to be taken for achieving good locations.

Identify
- Script - story
- location(s) manager
- location scouts
These 3 could potentially be done by one candidate, as in a skeletal crew.
This could link to the way in which the director would play the role.

Personal library info (loc)
- libraries (third party)

Research:

Local location offices

You can see from the links above that there are many locations that are available to the public to rent for their needs. This allows the public or short film producers space which is required and could potentially shoot a scene in an office.
